Please note that a throttle calibration will have to be done after installation to ensure full throttle range. If you need assistance with this, please don't hesitate to call, text, or email. It's a very easy procedure. Any package containing an Alltrax controller will be pre-programmed prior to shipping. Any package containing a Navitas controller will have to be setup by the installed after it is installed. This can be done via Bluetooth with a smart phone. It is very easy. We can assist with this as well.
If you wish to retain your reverse buzzer feature, a new F&R switch will need to be purchased with this kit. The factory 36 volt switch will work fine with any of these packages, but it does not have the additional micro-switches needed to control a reverse buzzer circuit. The replacement switch can be added to the shopping cart with this kit and ordered at the same time. That switch can be found HERE.
A controller mounting panel will help to make your controller installation easier. When available, they can be found HERE.
Please note that none of these packages come with a motor. It has been well documented that lots of people run their factory 36 volt series motor on 48 volts. We do NOT recommend this unless you are using our Version 1 package. For Versions 2 and higher we recommend choosing a high performance series motor from our online store. They can be found HERE
The Curtis PB8 throttle that we previously offered in these kits has been discontinued by Curtis and is no longer being manufactured. Due to a quality issue, we have opted not to include aftermarket units with our kits. Instead, we are offering a factory style MCOR4 conversion kit with an OEM MCOR4 throttle. For vehicles from 1995.5 and older, you'll need to watch our how-to video in order to make these parts fit. This video can be found by clicking HERE
